Information about YARN No. 4 – SOFISTICA

I have added a new summer yarn SOFISTICA to my collection, a blend of 60 % cotton / 40 % Linen. 195 m /50 g
This yarn I produced in co-operation with a spinning mill in Italy and dyed to my specifications in 12 colours – as a start.
The Cotton and Linen strands are dyed separately before twisting.
SOFISTICA is 100 % colourfast and machine washable and reeled in 50 g balls.

SOFISTICA will gradually replace Yarn No. 3 Day & Night, which is no longer produced at the Scottish Mill.
Each of my designs previously made for Yarn No. 3 Day & Night, has been knitted up and tested in the new Yarn No. 4 – SOFISTICA, to guarantee a perfect result.

I am happy to present BLUES, KONFETTI, LIDO, SUMMERTIME and ZIKZAK now in Yarn No. 4 – SOFISTICA , now in new colour combinations

New models STEPS, STIL, BITS, TRIO and YPSILON are designed specially for Yarn No. 4 – SOFISTICA – and more will come.

We still have some colours in Yarn No. 3 Day & Night in stock – but colours Midnight / Indigo 324 , Ivory 301 Silver 302 ,  Black / Indigo 327 and Blue/Indigo 322 are completely sold out.
All other colour combinations are still available.
